I believe that future of the nursing knowledge will be the collaborative work of nurse educator, nurse researcher and nurse clinician. The collaboration can work better when we use the "evidence based practice". Evidence based practice is the conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. The practice of evidence based nursing means integrating individual clinical expertise with the best available external clinical evidence from systematic review. Therefore, I think the researcher will assist in conducting research, the educator will assist in teaching of these current methods and the clinician will implement it during the care. The evidence based nursing will enhance collaboration between the teams, it will also enhance the compassionate care for the patients by integrating relevant research. I believe that while we are learning new methodologies it is also important to always remember our history and knowledge which we have acquired in the past.
