Résumé du colloque

Holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal materials with high sensitivity in the near IR are studied in details. Materials presented are based on mixture of an acrylate monomer, liquid crystal (LC) and are sensitized to 800 – 850 nm region. This allows highly efficient in-situ recording of holographic optical elements using infra red lasers. The holographic recording is realized by means of a Ti-Sa laser operating at 850 nm. High diffraction efficiency is demonstrated. Sensitivity of the material, dark-development and photochemical stability of the recorded gratings are investigated in the mentioned spectral range. The angular and spectral selectivities of gratings, recorded in these films, are examined for recovering the refractive index modulation profile. Various LC compounds are tested and compared. Shrinkage and switching capacity of the gratings is being currently estimated.
