This paper focused on the moral aspect of cooperation, with sharing of mutual goals as a main criterion. In cooperative learning, group members would work together towards a common objective and egalitarian relationship, recognizing the necessity of interdependence, communicating with each other and being conscious of what they should do to reach the common goal. To investigate how the Philosophy of Children program fulfilled the criteria of cooperation in learning from a moral perspective, this paper looked at the experiences of the Philosophy for Children program in Singapore, using transcripts of lessons and student feedback surveys and interviews.
