This study looked at the physiological and subjective responses of recent MI patients at rest, during two bathing activities (sitting sink bath and sitting shower), and after five minute recovery post-bath. Thirty MI patients were tested on two consecutive days between two and nine days post-MI. No significant physiological or subjective response differences between the two types of bath were found. Normal and significant increases in physiological and subjective responses for both baths were observed in 30 subjects.
