In chapter 10 of Logic, Thought & Action (Springer 2005), Daniel Vanderveken advocates a predicative non classical propositional logic. He offers a stronger criterion of propositional identity and a finer relation of logical implication than Lewis, Carnap and others. I will present his ideas and check whether he accounts for the real rationality of human agents in ordinary life and science. I will mainly consider propositional attitudes.
