Young guinea pigs maintained on a scorbutogenic diet and submitted to daily, fifteen minute aerosolations with a 1% aqueous solution of "Carbachol", using an aerosol generator having an airflow of 5 liters per minute liberating more than 4 x 10^6 microparticles per ml. air, over a period of several weeks, demonstrate a growth curve and mortality index which is comparable to the normal, ascorbic acid supplemented group, rather than to that of vitamin deficient animals.
