The role of CMC Microsystems in promoting innovation in Microsystems research in Canada will be discussed. CMC delivers design, fabrication and test services based on foundational technologies that underpin microsystems innovation, including microelectronics, embedded systems, MEMS, photonics and microfluidics. These services are delivered in the form of development environments that offer methodologies and services to integrate the foundational technology blocks into functional microsystem prototypes. CMC infrastructure accelerates innovation in microsystems research and develops the next generation of leading edge microsystem researchers in Canada.
