In the last 10 years an increasing number of nurses have been leaving their job, thus creating a serious problem for nursing management. The purpose of this study was to identify which factors affect nurses working in a Friesen Concept hospital. Herzberg's two factor theory of motivation served as the theoretical framework with the inclusion of specific characteristics addressing the particular structural design. The study was conducted by survey method. Of the 578 questionnaires distributed, 203 (38.3%) were returned.
