This report observes the feasibility of phasing out recreational gasoline vehicles in favour of hydrogen fuel-cell cars over a 10-year period in the province of Quebec. Three scenarios are observed: (1) in which hydrogen is priced at its current world price, (2) in which hydrogen sales would be subsidized by the government to meet the current gasoline price in Quebec, (3) the price of breaking-even within 10 years. Of the three scenarios observed, only the first two would be significantly profitable to be considered by a government.
